Bank of America

Hooray, I finally called Bank of America and now my Visa is working! I feel like a window of opportunity has opened :D :D :D

The reason I did so was this. I get dehydrated very easily and I always carry a 1.5 liter bottle of water with me. I lose that bottle every 2 days or so, so I usually have to buy a new one. I lost my most recent one just 3 hours ago and decided to use the last of my Krones, 27.5, to buy water. When I went to the grocery store what did I see?? A sale on my favorite chocolate bar that I mentioned earlier, Daim!! It was 3 for 28, when normally it is 1 for 14. I got so excited I forgot about the water and I bought the Daim, I was actually .5 short but the woman let me have it anyway. After I ate one of my Daim bars I was feeling kind of thirsty and then I remembered my water and got very sad :(

Since I had no krones left and they did not take American Express I had no choice but to call Bank of America. It took about 8 minutes and my card was up and running and I was so happy that I told the women working at the market (the one who sold me the Daim bars) everything. She was very happy for me, I think. Anyhow, I still have about 2 hours until my train! On hindsight I should have just taken the afternoon train to Berlin, but then I would arrive in Germany at around 10 pm at night...and I would have to find my hostel by myself. Also, I have another friend who is taking the night train, so this way I can meet my friend and we can walk to the hostel together when we arrive at 6 am.
