More of Amsterdam!

So after I ranted about my day I went out and decided to walk around. The city really is very pretty, and I was taking pictures while standing in the bike lane (I didn't know it was a bike lane) and got yelled at by the bikers. While I was walking I noticed this Asian girl walking by herself and thought perhaps she is traveling by herself too! Or perhaps she's a local, and would get offended if I automatically assumed she was a tourist. I kept walking then I figured I have a lot of time, so I decided to follow her and find out if she was a tourist or not, kekekeke. I followed her for like, 2 blocks (probably looked kind of sketchy doing it), then she stopped and took out her camera so I was like, "yaaaaay!" So that's how I met my new friend! She is also from Beijing, speaks some English, so I got to practice my Chinese too :) I guess it is quite easy to meet people while traveling abroad :D But she plans to stay in Amsterdam and then go back to Germany where she studies, so I guess I will have to find another new friend tommorow T_T

We went to the Anne Frank museum, which was very sad but also extremely interesting. The house that she lived on apparently was in Amsterdam, and it has a lot of old papers, pictures of the hiding place, and her original diary. After that we went to a "coffee shop", but we didn't know how to order, and neither of us wanted to look silly by asking questions like "what's the difference between hash and marijuana" or "how much is 2.8 grams?" But in the end I did ask, hahahaha, and the person who owned the store was really nice and excited to explain everything!

Also, someone saw me in my BU sweatshirt and was like, "Heeeey, do you go to BU??" And I was like, "I DID!!!" And I was super excited since I thought he must have gone to BU too. And he was like, "I went to BC!" And I was like..."Then why are you talking to me????" HAHAHAHA. Silly BC people. Actually after I said that I felt bad and said he can hang around too.

The food I had, by the way, was just okay. I am boarding my train to Copenhagen soon and I must find food before that! So, another update later!
